I had run a very successful construction company with my former husband for many years in Sydney. When I cut ties there I was absolutely burned out but was also at a stage where It was time to carve out a new life for myself. Since finding this business I have not looked back. Flexibility and portability were key for me as I wanted to be able to travel back to Ireland to my family when I decided to but I also wanted the opportunity to earn a high level income. I achieved that within my first year, in part time hours & my income has increased each year since then. Hi I’m Ron Salkowski and thanks for stopping by.
Let me share my story with you.
Life is never lived in a straight line and I have encountered the highs and lows that have come my way. The way I have dealt with the bumps is the result of where I am today, but first some background on me.
After leaving secondary school as a 17 year old I joined the Australian Army and I spent the next 6 years learning some of life’s skills which I hold very dearly to this day. Respect, Honesty and a Willingness to help others are on top of a long list of my beliefs.
I basically fell into the Construction Industry after leaving the Army and spent the next 39 years heavily involved in it. I created my own interior fit out company along the way. More of that later.
I have always been an avid investor in Real Estate and renovating properties is no stranger to me. My investing in the Share Market and now crypto currencies is exciting. I have also been involved in the manufacturing and beauty industries – not all my ventures have been successful. One thing I have achieved is learning from my mistakes.
I have always been involved in various Sports both as a player and coach, I still play cricket in the Veterans competitions and enjoy the mate ship and camaraderie that it brings.
I have a passion for Scuba Diving and the world below is something to treasure.
My personal life has been a roller coaster for me, having divorced many years ago and now married to my soul mate is something that I am very grateful for. I am father of two impressive men, who also now have their own families so that makes me a grandfather which I take on as an important role in life.
I am proud of the fact I always look out for opportunities to improve my life for myself and my family. But life is not perfect, as we all can appreciate.
MY PROBLEM : For 33 of my 39 years in construction I had my own successful Interior fit out company in the commercial building industry completing projects all along the eastern seaboard of Australia and for a decade in the United Arab Emirates. In the UAE, I was involved in setting up a materials distribution company, importing building products from all around the world, and also an interior fit out which coincidentally went into some of the most Iconic Buildings ever built in the Middle East.
However, working as an expat was difficult, especially while the Global Financial Crisis was reverberating around the world. Little did we expect of what was to come a decade or so later.
As you can imagine running a business like this takes a huge toll on family life and my biggest regrets was missing Birthdays, important occasions and making memories with family and friends alike. The little things in life are the best.
I was burnt out.
MY SOLUTION: In 2020 the world was thrown into turmoil with Covid.
In June 2020 my last construction project was completed. Lockdown was in full swing in Mornington Australia, and I for the first time in many years took a deep breath and assessed my life, and in particular my future.
As I mentioned earlier, I am always on the lookout for business alternatives in life, I knew I had no more to give in construction and the next phase of my life was staring me down.
My passion for travel, spending time with family and friends and a strong desire to find a business alternative was palpable.
By a sheer stroke of luck I came across an advertisement, similar to what has happened for you, that offered me this opportunity in the Personal Development field. Along with some exciting benefits.
